Seriously....Kelly Ward is wonderful!!!

I've been hinting around for a few years now about updating our kitchen a little. I didn't like our formica countertops and they were looking a little ragged and worn. I also thought our oak cabinets looked a little dated and wanted a change (too expensive to replace). Anyway, about a month ago Kelly woke up Saturday morning and took me for a ride. We ended up at a Granite store. Long story short....here's a look at my new kitchen. Instead of getting new cabinets, we decided to put handles and knobs on them and they look much better with the new granite counters. We also bought a new sink and faucet. I am now searching for new curtains, hence, no curtains except one that I am considering. I am going to replace all of my appliances with stainless steel in Feb. after I earn some money doing my yearly NAEP testing in the schools. I do the testing every year and buy something for the house. Last year it was an entertainment center for our family room and the year before it was a new bedroom set. So this year it will be new appliances. Can't wait!!!

I have no idea what NAEP testing is. . . but I wanna do it! Your kitchen looks great!

Looks awesome!! Someday, someday. I love your sink too- you'll be able to wipe the counter tops into the sink without that annoying ledge to jump over. Yes, I think about cleaning when I see countertops, I am pathetic :)

Absolutely love the countertops! And I would like to replace all my appliances with stainless steel ones someday. But, for me to do that the appliances have to die first! That may be awhile and probably only 1 at a time!
