Another Marathon!!!
My friend Katie invited me to run in the St George marathon with her this year. I ran in it last year and promised myself that it would probably be the only one. I am not a "runner" I just like the fact that I can still do it. Anyway, I decided to do it again this year with her. Last year I ran it by myself and it was intimidating but, so much fun. The training is where all of the hard work is. Anyway it's a lottery so we'll see if we get picked or not. If not she wants me to run in a different one with her so I laced up my running shoes and here I go again. I've been a slacker runner lately and it's interesting to realize the change of heart that I have when I actually have a goal in mind.

WOW! You are a trooper. I hate running! Although I do love a good job in the rain, I know it's weird, but it feels so great. :) Good luck, hope you get picked to run in it.

You are an inspiration! I just had a dream last night that I was running on a track team again. Maybe it's a sign that I need make my lazy self run again. I'm glad I ran into your blog. FYI: Rick and I are moving back to WA in June! Too bad your family is far away, but I'm glad you like Arizona.
